Present Perfect adalah bentuk waktu dalam bahasa Inggris yang digunakan untuk menyatakan suatu tindakan atau peristiwa di masa lalu dengan keadaan sekarang. Walaupun demikian masih banyak orang yang belum memahami Present Perfect dengan benar. Tujuan penulisan ini adalah untuk menjelaskan konsep Present Perfect, fungsi-fungsi penggunaannya serta perbedaannya dengan bentuk waktu lainnya. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan kajian literatur yang diambil dari sumber-sumber terdahulu. Hasilnya agar siswa lebih menguasai bahasa Ingris, terutama dalam konteks percakapan sehari-hari, seperti memahami hubungan masa lalu dan sekarang, mengugkapkan pengalaman, menyampaikan berita, dan menguasai tata bahasa Inggris.
