Abstract

Zakat adalah salah satu rukun Islam yang memiliki peranan penting dalam berbagai aspek kehidupan, termasuk dalam bidang keagamaan, sosial, ekonomi, dan kesejahteraan masyarakat. Zakat bukanlah sesuatu yang bersifat konsumtif; sebaliknya, ia dapat disalurkan dalam bentuk produktif. Pengelolaan dan distribusi zakat saat ini dilakukan melalui lembaga-lembaga zakat, terutama Badan Amil Zakat Nasional (BAZNAS), memiliki peran penting dalam penyaluran zakat produktif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji proses monitoring dan evaluasi yang diterapkan dalam Program Berkah Bogor, yang dikelola oleh BAZNAS di Kota Bogor. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah wawancara dengan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa proses monitoring dan evaluasi dibagi menjadi empat fase utama, yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, monitoring dan evaluasi, serta penilaian. Evaluasi dilakukan untuk menilai perkembangan usaha mustahik setelah menerima dukungan. Oleh karena itu, program ini perlu melakukan evaluasi secara berkala agar dapat meningkatkan manfaat bagi komunitas penerima.
