Analisis Pemahaman Present Continuous Tense pada Mahasiswa PGSD dalam Pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris

Dalam pembelajaran bahasa Inggris, Present Continuous Tense memiliki peran penting untuk menjelaskan aktivitas yang tengah berlangsung saat ini. Meskipun penting, banyak mahasiswa PGSD yang masih kesulitan dalam memahami Present Continuous Tense sehingga sering terjadi kekeliruan dalam penggunaannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis berbagai bentuk kesulitan yang dialami mahasiswa PGSD dalam memahami Present Continuous Tense dalam konteks pembelajaran bahasa Inggris. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode wawancara serta kajian literatur untuk memperoleh data mengenai pemahaman mahasiswa. Hasil penelitian mengungkap bahwa banyak mahasiswa kesulitan membedakan penggunaan Present Continuous Tense dan Present Simple. Implikasi dari temuan ini adalah pentingnya penekanan pada latihan terstruktur agar mahasiswa dapat meningkatkan akurasi penggunaan Present Continuous Tense.
