STUDI KASUS KESULITAN MENULIS PADA SISWA KELAS II SD AKIBAT RENDAHNYA KEMAMPUAN MEMBACA

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kesulitan menulis yang dialami siswa kelas II SD dan menganalisis keterkaitannya dengan rendahnya kemampuan membaca. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Subjek penelitian terdiri atas tujuh siswa kelas II, guru kelas, dan kepala sekolah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa mengalami berbagai kesulitan menulis seperti bentuk huruf tidak proporsional, tulisan tidak terbaca, kesalahan ejaan serta kesulitan menyusun kalimat secara runtut. Kesulitan ini berkaitan dengan rendahnya kemampuan membaca yang ditandai dengan membaca terbata-bata, keliru membedakan huruf, dan tidak memahami isi bacaan. Guru menggunakan strategi seperti pembiasaan membaca sebelum menulis dan penggunaan media fonetik. Penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya pembelajaran membaca dan menulis yang terintegrasi di kelas rendah.
