IMPLEMENTASI MANAJEMEN SISTEM OTOMASI PERPUSTAKAAN BERBASIS SLIMS DALAM OPTIMALISASI PELAYANAN DAN PENGELOLAAN SUMBER DAYA DI MAN 4 BOGOR

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji implementasi manajemen sistem otomasi perpustakaan berbasis SLiMS dalam optimalisasi pelayanan dan pengelolaan sumber daya di MAN 4 Bogor. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode kualitatif studi kasus melalui pengumpulan data yang dilakukan dengan wawancara dan observasi. Analisis data dilakukan melalui tiga tahap yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa SLiMS telah diimplementasikan dengan baik melalui berbagai fitur, seperti OPAC, pengelolaan bibliografi, sirkulasi, keanggotaan, manajemen sistem, dan pelaporan, yang secara signifikan meningkatkan efisiensi operasional perpustakaan. Selain itu, SLiMS memfasilitasi aliran data yang terstruktur dalam manajemen keanggotaan, peminjaman, pengembalian buku, dan pelaporan, yang mendukung proses pengambilan keputusan. Implementasi SLiMS terbukti mengoptimalkan kemudahan akses informasi, efisiensi proses sirkulasi, dan pengelolaan sumber daya perpustakaan, yang sebelumnya menjadi tantangan utama bagi MAN 4 Bogor. Namun, beberapa kekurangan juga teridentifikasi, seperti skalabilitas terbatas, kebutuhan akan keahlian teknis untuk kustomisasi, dan potensi masalah keamanan data yang memerlukan perhatian khusus. Dengan demikian, SLiMS telah membawa dampak positif pada peningkatan kualitas layanan perpustakaan di MAN 4 Bogor, meskipun masih terdapat ruang untuk perbaikan lebih lanjut.
