Mengintegrasikan Kearifan Lokal dalam Implementasi Program Adiwiyata: Studi pada Sekolah Berbasis Budaya Sunda di Jawa Barat

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji integrasi kearifan lokal budaya Sunda dalam implementasi Program Adiwiyata di sekolah-sekolah berbasis budaya di Jawa Barat. Program Adiwiyata sebagai kebijakan pendidikan lingkungan hidup nasional dinilai akan lebih efektif apabila disinergikan dengan nilai-nilai lokal yang hidup dalam masyarakat. Budaya Sunda memiliki prinsip ekologis yang kuat, seperti silih asah, silih asih, silih asuh, serta falsafah hidup harmonis dengan alam, yang sejalan dengan tujuan pendidikan lingkungan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan instrumen berupa wawancara, angket, observasi, dan tes tertulis. Sampel penelitian adalah 20 siswa kelas X di SMA Amaliyah yang telah mengikuti program Adiwiyata lebih dari satu tahun. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa integrasi nilai-nilai lokal dilakukan melalui kurikulum muatan lokal, kegiatan ekstrakurikuler, tradisi sekolah, dan penggunaan simbol budaya Sunda dalam komunikasi lingkungan. Integrasi ini berdampak positif terhadap peningkatan kesadaran dan perilaku ramah lingkungan warga sekolah. Namun demikian, tantangan seperti minimnya dokumentasi kearifan lokal dan keterbatasan pelatihan guru masih menjadi hambatan dalam pelaksanaan program. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan pengembangan model pendidikan lingkungan yang adaptif terhadap budaya lokal guna memperkuat karakter ekologis peserta didik dan menjadikan sekolah sebagai agen pelestarian budaya dan lingkungan secara berkelanjutan.
