AUTHOR GUIDELINES
Jurnal Peternakan Nusantara

  1. Scope and Focus

Jurnal Peternakan Nusantara accepts research articles, literature reviews, and case studies in the field of animal husbandry, including but not limited to:

  • Animal nutrition and feed
  • Genetics and animal breeding
  • Livestock management and production
  • Animal product technology
  1. Manuscript Submission
  • Articles must be original and not previously published or under consideration for publication in other journals.
  • Manuscripts may be submitted in either English or Indonesian (bilingual policy). If submitted in Indonesian, the title and abstract must be provided in both English and Indonesian.
  • Manuscripts should be submitted through the journal's online submission system.
  • Accepted file format: Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx).
  1. Manuscript Structure
  • Title: Concise, clear, and reflective of the article content (maximum 20 words).
  • Author Names and Affiliations: Full names without academic titles, institutional affiliations, and corresponding author’s email.
  • Abstract: Maximum of 250 words, in both Indonesian and English, covering the objective, methods, main findings, and conclusions.
  • Keywords: 3-5 relevant keywords.
  • Introduction: Background, objectives, and related literature review.
  • Methods: Detailed description of materials, tools, and research procedures.
  • Results and Discussion: Presentation of results with analysis and discussion supported by literature.
  • Conclusion: Summary of the key findings without repeating detailed data.
  • References: Follow the latest edition of the American Psychological Association (APA) reference style. A minimum of 15 references is required, with at least 80% sourced from journal articles published within the last 10 years.
  1. Formatting Guidelines
  • The manuscript should be formatted in A4 size, with 2.5 cm margins on all sides.
  • The text should be typed in Cambria, size 11, with 1 spacing.
  • The manuscript should follow the Jurnal Peternakan Nusantara 2025 template style.
  • Tables and figures must be presented with clear descriptions and high-quality visuals.
  1. Ethical Considerations
  • All submitted articles must comply with publication ethics, including academic integrity and originality.
  • Each manuscript will be checked using plagiarism detection software (Turnitin), with a maximum similarity score of 20%.
  • If the research involves animals, an ethical approval statement must be provided.
  1. Peer Review Process
  • All manuscripts will undergo a review process by at least two independent reviewers (double-blind review).
  • The final decision on publication is determined by the editorial board based on the review results.
  1. Article Processing Charge (APC)
  • Publication fees will be informed after the article is accepted.
