Kajian Intersepsi Serangga Gudang pada Palm Kernel Expeller: Dominansi Spesies, Pola Temporal, dan Implikasi Biosekuriti

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis komposisi spesies, frekuensi dan tingkat dominansi, serta pola temporal serangga gudang pada Palm Kernel Expeller (PKE) berdasarkan data intersepsi laboratorium, sekaligus mengidentifikasi implikasinya terhadap sanitasi gudang dan biosekuriti perdagangan. Sebanyak sebelas sampel palm kernel expeller diperiksa dengan metode identifikasi morfologis. Hasil menunjukkan lima spesies serangga terdeteksi, yaitu Alphitobius diaperinus, Tribolium castaneum, Tribolium confusum, Lasioderma serricorne, dan Clogmia albipunctata. A. diaperinus merupakan spesies paling dominan dengan frekuensi 90,9%, disertai nilai indeks keragaman Shannon–Wiener (H’ = 1,54) yang mengindikasikan keragaman sedang dan dominansi kuat oleh satu taksa. Pola temporal kemunculan serangga bersifat relatif konsisten sepanjang periode pengamatan, menandakan adanya kontaminasi berulang akibat sanitasi dan pengelolaan gudang yang belum optimal. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa palm kernel expeller merupakan media pembawa potensial bagi hama gudang sehingga diperlukan perbaikan manajemen penyimpanan, peningkatan sanitasi fasilitas, dan penerapan tindakan mitigasi pra-ekspor untuk menekan risiko kontaminasi serangga dan memperkuat biosekuriti komoditas.
