Kajian Sebaran Spasial dan Identifikasi Karakter Morfometrik Molekuler Bactrocera occipitalis Hasil Rearing Lima Inang di Empat Wilayah Kalimantan Timur

Abstract

Penurunan produksi dan kualitas buah lokal di Kalimantan Timur masih dipengaruhi oleh serangan lalat buah (Tephritidae) khususnya Bactrocera occipitalis yang memiliki kisaran inang luas. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengonfirmasi keberadaan serta spesifisitas inang B. occipitalis melalui pendekatan survei dan rearing. Sampel buah bergejala dikoleksi dari empat wilayah, yaitu Kutai Timur, Bontang, Kutai Barat, dan Samarinda, kemudian dipelihara hingga menghasilkan imago untuk identifikasi morfologi dan konfirmasi molekuler menggunakan PCR sequencing. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa dari lima jenis inang, empat di antaranya terinfestasi B. occipitalis. Belimbing dan jambu biji merupakan inang utama yang ditemukan di tiga lokasi (75%), sedangkan sawo dan jeruk terbatas pada satu lokasi (25%) dan mangga tidak menunjukkan infestasi. Secara spasial, Kutai Timur memiliki jumlah inang positif tertinggi (80%) dan nilai kekayaan jenis tertinggi (S=4), sehingga dikategorikan sebagai hotspot interaksi inang-hama. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa distribusi dan preferensi inang B. occipitalis bersifat spesifik dan terlokalisasi. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan penerapan strategi pengelolaan hama terpadu berbasis lokasi untuk meningkatkan efektivitas pengendalian.
