Abstract

Background - Rapid climate change requires us to find sustainable solutions in various aspects of life, one of
which is through environmentally friendly natural resource management and sourcing practices.
Purpose - This research aims to identify and develop approaches to applying sustainability principles to sourcing,
both in industrial and societal contexts, taking into account the impacts of climate change.
methodology - Through applied and social research-based analysis, this study highlights the importance of
integrating sustainability values into every stage of procurement, from raw material selection to final product
distribution.
Findings - The research results are expected to provide concrete recommendations for industry players and
policy makers in designing sustainable sourcing strategies, as well as strengthening mitigation and adaptation
efforts to the increasingly real impacts of climate change.
Originality - Holistic approach to sustainable procurement, integration of industry and community perspectives,
emphasis on public policy and sectoral collaboration, focus on climate change adaptation and mitigation
