PENGARUH PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN ACTIVE LEARNING TIPE CARD SORT DALAM MENINGKATKAN MINAT BELAJAR IPAS KELAS III SEKOLAH DASAR

Di kelas III SD Negeri Cibodas, model pembelajaran konvensional seperti ceramah masih digunakan di pelajaran IPAS. Metode ini dianggap tidak efektif dalam menarik minat siswa untuk berpartisipasi secara aktif dalam kegiatan pembelajaran. Penelitian ini, metode kuantitatif (quasi - experimental design) digunakan. Kelompok yang menjalani perlakuan eksperimen diberikan pembelajaran dengan metode aktif berbasis pengelompokan kartu, berbeda dengan kelompok kontrol yang mendapatkan materi secara ekspositori. Temuan studi ini mengindikasikan bahwa pendekatan pembelajaran aktif berjenis kartu sortir dapat secara signifikan meningkatkan minat siswa dalam belajar. Analisis terhadap data mengindikasikan bahwa rata-rata nilainya adalah yang diperoleh dari eksperimen menunjukkan performa yang lebih tinggi yaitu 90,20 daripada kelompok kontrol. Uji t-test menunjukkan signifikansi nilai 0,004 < 0,05. Dengan demikian, dapat terlihat bahwa model pembelajaran aktif menggunakan kartu sortir lebih efektif dalam meningkatkan minat belajar siswa.
