Community Environmental Health with Housewife Participation in Knowledge and Behavior of Waste Management

Background - Increasing the welfare and economy of the community has an impact on environmental changes. Environmental changes are caused by high levels of pollution. How to reduce pollution by knowing some of the
benefits of environmental management systems. This system will have an effect on the health of the community's environment through the participation of housewives based on their knowledge and behavior in managing waste
to reduce environmental pollution and have a good impact on life.
Purpose - The purpose of this study was to analyze public health with the participation of housewives in the
knowledge and behavior of managing waste. The participation of housewives as an intervening variable,
overcoming pollution through the level of knowledge and awareness of behavior towards the environment.
methodology - Research by distributing questionnaires to 120 respondents was taken using a purposive random sampling system, and processed with SmartPLS. The relationship between variables shows the correlation coefficient and determination coefficient which contains elements of mediation.
Findings - Research shows that the level of knowledge and behavior of housewives in managing waste with
community participation is 57.8%, and the level of availability influences public health by 64%.
Originality - This research is different from the previous research, it is hoped that it will be useful and have added value.
