Background - The phenomenon of bullying often occurs in educational institutions. Bullying in Elementary
schools is a very serious social problem and must receive full attention from the schools
Purpose - The aim of this research is to find out the strategies used in handling bullying in elementary schools
methodology - The Method used in this research is aqualitative method with a case study type of research. Data this research use primary data and secondary data as support. the data collection tecnique uses direct and indepth interviews with stakeholders in elementary schools in the bogor city area. in addition, observation and
documentacion technique are used as complementary data.Data analysis uses analytical tecnique from miles and
huberman with stages of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. Apart from that,
data analysts are assisted by using the Nvivo aplication.The validity of the data uses source triangulation and
engineering triangulation technique.
Findings - The research results show the strategies for handling bullying in elementary schools include
implementing school policies, developing a school vision and mission, forming a violent bullying prevention team (TPPK), issuing rules regarding child friendly schools, collaborating with external institutions, creating programs that support schools child friendly
Originality - Found novelty in implementing bullying prevention strategies in elementary schools
