Abstract

Background - Stunting is a serious public health problem that has a long-term impact on the quality of human life. Bogor Regency as one of the areas with a high prevalence of stunting has even increased from the previous year by 2.7% in 2023 and is experiencing serious challenges in handling this issue.
Purpose - This study aims to analyze the Optimization of the Role of Local Government in Handling Stunting
based on Constitutional Law.
methodology - The method used in this research is a qualitative approach with descriptive analysis.
Findings - The results of this study show that local governments have significant responsibilities in formulating policies, allocating budgets and implementing intervention programs that focus on stunting prevention.
Originality - steps to improve the effectiveness of the local government's role, including strengthening regulations, increasing resource capacity and also collaboration with various parties. This research is expected to provide
recommendations for local governments in formulating effective and sustainable policies in handling stunting in Bogor Regency.
