Abstract

Background - The performance of government agencies is the main focus of efforts to improve the effectiveness
of public services and government accountability. A well-performing government agency can meet the needs of
society more efficiently and responsively, and create a positive impact on social and economic development.
Factors such as resource management, leadership, internal control systems, and budgets play an important role
in determining the extent to which government agencies can achieve their stated goals and objectives.
Purpose - This study aims to determine the effect of the Government's Internal Control System, Budget, and
Organizational Commitment on the Performance of Government Institutions in Bogor City.
methodology - The research design uses a descriptive survey method. The sampling technique used purposive
sampling, so 10 organizations were selected as research samples. Data collection was conducted through the
distribution of questionnaires. Testing and data analysis were performed using multiple linear regression analysis
with the SPSS 26 program.
Findings - The analysis and hypothesis testing results show that simultaneously and partially, the Government's
Internal Control System, Budget, and Organizational Commitment have a significant effect on the Performance of
Government Agencies in Bogor City. The magnitude of the contribution of the influence of the Government's
Internal Control System, Budget, and Organizational Commitment on Government Agency Performance is 45.5
percent.
Originality - The novelty in this research is in the research location, where this research was conducted at ten
regional apparatus organisations in the city of Bogor.
