ANALYSIS OF PRODUCTION PROCESS AT THE MANUFACTURING COMPANY CV. HOKRI RUBBER, BOGOR REGENCY

Abstract

Background: The expansion of the industrial and manufacturing sectors, which are vital to economic growth through the creation of goods and services, is always strongly related to the development of the national economy. Effective management of production processes is crucial for any industrial organization to maximize productivity, preserve product quality, and reduce adverse environmental effects. In addition to boosting output, effective process management demonstrates a company's social commitment to the environment.

Purpose: This analysis's primary goal is to provide a detailed description and analysis of every step of CV. HOKRI RUBBER's retreaded tire production process, from material mixing to final buffing. Furthermore, this study intends to evaluate the efficacy and efficiency of the raw material utilization and workflow, examine the effects of production waste and its management initiatives, and offer suggestions for enhancement to make the production process more ecologically friendly and efficient in compliance with manufacturing industry standards.

Finding: This study intends to evaluate the effectivity and efficiency of the raw material utilization and workflow, examine the effects of production waste and its management initiatives, and offer suggestions for enhancement to make the production process more ecologically friendly and efficient in compliance with manufacturing industry standards.

Limitation: In particular, this study examines CV. HOKRI RUBBER, a Bogor Regency-based manufacturer of rubber components or vulcanized tires, to comprehend its waste management procedures, production flow, and efficiency.

Originality: This research provides a theoretical contribution to the development of operations management science, particularly in the field of production process management, as well as practical benefits for companies as a basis for evaluating and improving their production systems. Thus, production activities at CV. HOKRI RUBBER are not only oriented toward achieving economic profit, but also support the sustainability of the manufacturing industry in Indonesia.
